THE BASICS 

PLAYER & TEAM ELIGIBILITY:

Court in the Bay Goes Country (18+) All players MUST be over 18 years of age and is open to womens and mixed Netball Teams.  All spectators and supporters must also be 18+ to enter into the event, there will be no exceptions and identification may be required.

Only teams who have registered and paid online are eligible to play.

Teams can register a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 12 players.

Players must register for 1 team only per tournament, but can register for both the 18+ and Whanau tournaments if eligible.

UMPIRES:

Teams will pay for an umpire at the time of entry and all teams will be allocated umpires for this tournament.

UNIFORMS:

Teams may wear fancy dress, club uniform, shorts and t-shirt, leggings and tops etc, as long as all players are dressed the same and the attire is safe for playing netball.

Jewellery is not permitted to be worn while playing netball and fingernails must be short, gloves will be permitted to wear if nails are long.

You must supply bibs for your team. A match ball will be supplied in your team entry pack.

FIRST AID:

You must supply your own first aid equipment for Nimon Court in the Bay, however ice will be available in the Hawke’s Bay Netball building. We will have some first aid cover available also.

COMPETITION:

The competition format will be decided once registrations close as it is dependent on the number of teams in each grade.

Both teams should have a nominated person to stand together to score the games. The scorecard IS the offical score.

All games will be centrally timed from the Hawke's Bay Netball container and there will be no injury time for these games. 

Matches will be 2 x 10 minute halves, with a 2 minute half time. Teams are to change ends at half time.

Points will be awarded as follows: Win = 4 points, Draw = 2 points, Loss within 3 goals = 1 point and Loss by more than 3 goals = 0 points
